This upcoming Nike Air Max 1 is representative of the West Coast or as it known in Nike vernacular, the “Nike Coast.”
It sports a white upper spread across a combination of materials that includes canvas, suede, tumbled and smooth leather and fur. The lateral side of each shoe is adorned with a red feathered Swoosh, with a croc-like texture for the branding on the medial side. Each tongue features “The Bay” branding with embroidered “NIKE AIR” on the rear heel. Graphic insoles and a “Nike Coast” hangtags complete an upper that sits atop a white midsole and a gum rubber outsole.
The “The Bay” Nike Air Max 1 is scheduled to debut June 7 at nike.com and select retail establishments. They will carry a 160 USD sticker price.
